My name is Nicole Turski. I have lived in Charlotte for five years and love it! I am originally from Amherst,OH and graduated high school in 2002 at Marion L. Steele High School. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2006 with a Bachelors in Music Education. I stayed in Ohio for one year substitute teaching and decided to move to North Carolina. I lived in Wake Forest and taught in Franklin County for one year teaching middle and high school. Then, I moved to Eastern Carolina and taught at South West Edgecombe High School for 5 years. I was also at Weddington High School for one year. I have two sisters; Kristen and Joy; both whom are teachers in Ohio. My husband Rick, is the tech theater teacher at Providence High School. When I'm not at school, I love watching TV with my husband and playing with my 11 year old Italian Greyhound and 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier. I also love going out to eat and trying all the great restaurants in the Charlotte area. We have a 2 year old son named Noah. I am so excited to be at Myers Park! I look forward to building the choral program even more. My goal is to make the Myers Park Choral Department the best at CMS!
